14 Edición del Festival de Cine Francés en Cuba Del 2 al 30 de junio próximos

Del 2 al 30 de junio próximos, el Festival de Cine Francés de Cuba iluminará nuevamente las salas cinematográficas de La Habana y de las grandes ciudades cubanas. Como en los años anteriores, la programación propondrá en el 2011 una amplia selección de la producción francesa. Con 21 filmes en versión original y en 35mm, el Festival ambiciona mostrar las realizaciones que han marcado el cine francés de los últimos dos años.
Organizado desde 1992 por la Asociación Cinémania que dirige el realizador y productor Christophe Barratier y por Nourédine Essadi, y con el apoyo de siempre de la Alianza Francesa de Cuba y de la Embajada de Francia en Cuba, el Festival está considerado hoy en día la gran Cita Anual de la Cultura Francesa en Cuba. La fructífera asociación con el Instituto Cubano de Arte e Industria Cinematográficos (ICAIC) ha hecho posible una asistencia de 100.000 espectadores estos últimos años. Hoy es el Festival de Cine Francés que más público atrae en el mundo.
Una importante delegación francesa se espera nuevamente para esta 14 edición, a fin de intercambiar con cinéfilos y profesionales cubanos del cine.
Y como una vez no es costumbre, un documental abrirá el Festival en la sala Chaplin el próximo 2 de junio. “Océanos”, una magnífica odisea para descubrir los misterios de la vida en las profundidades del mar, será presentado por los guionistas Jacques Perrin y François Sarano.
Estarán igualmente presentes durante toda la primera semana Yahima Torres, actriz principal de “Venus Negra”, Louis-Ronan Choisy, actor de “Refugio”, Caroline Bottaro, realizadora de “Jugadora” o Emilio Maillé, realizador de “La Vida Loca”. ¡Los esperamos en los cines!
